Tröndle Family Genealogy Our lineage to this family traces back to NICHOLAS TRÖNDLE (d. 30 Jan 1724/25) married BARBARA MEYER (10 Jan 1657/58 - 24 Dec 1724) on the 16th of February in 1680/81. They had six children, one of them being our ancestor, CASPAR TRÖNDLE (08 Jan 1687/88 - 07 Sep 1756), in Rotzel. Caspar married MARIA LUTTE (27 Jul 1689 - 1735) of Oberwiehl, Baden, Gemany. They stayed in Rotzel and had nine children, including a daughter named ANNA MARIA TRÖNDLE (14 Jul 1735 - 1773) who married FRITZ HÜBER (1718 - 12 Jul 1788). They lived in Rotzel, as well, and had ten children. Their relatives, the Tröndle's of Oberwihl, Baden, were very prominent in the town, as were relatives in nearby areas that were part of the many insurrections in the 19th Century. The Mayor of Oberwihl who signed Ignatz Wenk's passport to America was a Tröndle.
