According to legal records of both Germany and England, and to the records copied in the Bible of Joseph Hause of Ovid, New York, the first John Hause was born in Germany in the year 1690, and when an infant, on account of Religious Persecutions, he was transported by his "cousin", Queen Mary ll, of Great Britain, House of Stuart, Daughter of James ll and Anne Hyde, born 1662, married William, Prince of Orange at the age of 17, reigning 15 years, and died in 1694 of Small Pox, leaving no children. A kind, meek. and noble Queen.
John Hause, born 1690, lived in New York until his marriage in 1715 to Sarah Allen, a woman of fine English Blood. After his marriage, he removed to Haverstraw, Rockland Co., New York.
Their children were Simon, born 1717, John born 1719, Catherine born 1723, Johnna born 1725, Sally born 1728 and William born 1730.
The actual home of origin for the Haus Family was Klein Altenstadten near 6300 Wetzlar (15 km . w. of Giessen).
