With nothing new to report (still tracking down Y-DNA leads), I thought it'd be fun to see how the people on these pages would actually look in color. Most of these were made with 'DeOldify,' created by Jason Antic and Dana Kelley (licensed by MyHeritage.com). Some work better than others, but they're all fun to look at. (You can colorize your own black and whites at https://www.myheritage.com/.
In the photo above, we see the Hause brothers reunite in New York sometime around the dawn of the 20th Century: (back row) Augustus Hause Jr., Laban Hause, John Hause; (middle row) Hanna Grove-Hause, Melissa Sanderson-Hause, and Eve Dysinger-Hause; (front) unknown child (I'm guessing one of Augustus Jr,'s granddaughters, either Vivian Estelle Hause or Frances Lenore Hause) and Laban's daughter with his first wife, Sarah Dysinger, Elma Hause-Jackson.
